- I live about 5 miles out of Granite Falls. I enjoy the peace and quiet of the area, not to mention the natural beauty! I have a black dog named Brownie (he was browner when he was little :-)) and a cat named Mama. Mama showed up on our doorstep when we lived on Camano Island, we took her in only to discover she was "expecting", hence the name! I have an 18 year old daughter who is the light of my life, I can hardly wait to see what road she decides to take......
